This is an ORIGINAL 1983 portrait of Andy Warhol Factory Superstar JACKIE CURTIS, in drag. This is a very, very rare offering, and is a pristine, orginal silver platinum print, printed by deceased photographer Jarry Lang himself. His signature stamp appears on verso. There are only two known copies of this print in existence that were printed by Lang himself.   This is an exceptionaly RARE offering!
The condition is superb, printed on cream-colored baryt, thick paper.
This print has been verified by the Estate of Jarry Lang.

Lang was the great grandson of Charles VII of Spain.  A well-known celebrity photographer, he was also a good friend of Andy Warhol and a habitué of the Factory scene. He excelled in portraying the Factory Warhol Superstars.  After his death much of his original negatives and prints were destroyed by an unknowing caretaker of his work, which makes this original print so much more rare today.  This print is a high-quality original, which will only increase in value over time.
