A beautiful copperplate engraving of a Magpie bird, from Thomas Pennant's 1766 Large Folio "The British Zoology", 1st Edition. Published in London, 1766. Drawn by Peter Paillou, and engraved by Peter Mazell. Fine hand colour as issued. Light corner margin wrinkle (not affecting plate or image), slight toning at the edges, otherwise Excellent quality!
