Printed in Germany 1720.
Excellent condition, with some slight toning at edges, a few minor spots. Matting will hide this.
Bouchardon was a friend of the Comte de Caylus and was distinguished by being the only artist praised by Le Blanc in his famous letter to Caylus criticising the bad taste in decoration and the too free range of Rococo ornamentation.
